I saw when i was using google that you could make 3D buildings, weather, and scienic spots. I made 3 placemarks some on the Moon and some on Earth. With the 3D buildings I went to disney and looked at Cinderella's Castle. On the weather i saw a hurricane near Hawaii. With the scenic spots on the Moon i went and saw many of the picture of the actuall moon and was shocked that camera worked there!
I like d the gallery cause you can see the pictures of the buildings. I also liked the street view cause you can see the cars and buildings on the side of the roads. And the weather you can see what is coming near you.
I picked Wikipedia and it showed me thousands of places to find wikipedia. The same thing happened with youtube. Then I did Earth City Lights and it showed me the city lights.
in the first layer i used weather, in that layer it shows you all the differnt types of weather going on in the world. My next layer i did was the volcano layer, it shows you where all the volcanos in the world are. The last layer i chose was the ancient rome layer, in that layer i could see where all the building in ancient rome stood
Well when I went to google earth and my favorite three layers were the weather wich should all the clouds everywhere. the gallery showed all the cool 3D layers. the street view was awesome beacause i saw all the streets that I looked at.
i tryed the weather layer and i saw a storm coming for us. i also saw the valcano it was sooooooo cool cause i saw all the valcanos in the world. i also picked the traffic layer it was awsome cause i saw all the traffic by my house and on the highway.
The first layer i used was 3D bildings it was very cool. The secend one i used was weather and i know the weather for today . Then i used roads and i know all of the roads.

I liked ocean because you could see where shipwrecks were, animals are, etc. Places of interest was good because it should you where coffee shops, restraunts, and hospitals are. And Wikipedia because when you clicked on it, it would give you good information on the place you were visiting.
I cuold see the layer of citys you can see all the cool shoping centers and ,the layers of so you can see what waethether is coming.There is also see valcanos and were they are locatied they ade mosty in hawwii

i think google earth is awe somE. THE STREET VIEW IS GOOD becuaese you can se things up close. the flight similator is good becuse can fly!! the weather is good becuase you can see whats coming.
I love google earth. The first layer I tried was the weather, and i loved it because you could see what was coming to hit you. my second favorite was to zoom in and find restaurants with ratings and directions. My favorite of all was the street view because you could look almost anywhere you could want to. :-)
One of the many layers of google earth is the dinning layer. It can show you any resturaunt near. Another layer is the traffic view. This would be very helpful if your traveling and lookin for the shortest route.The last layer is street view. Steert view would be great for looking if there was a bad storm or ice on the road.All of these layers can be very useful. Emily #1
I looked at the weather layer. It is very useful because you can look at any part of the world you want and you can see the weather there. It uses the same colors as the news on TV. The next layer was the street view layer. I think this would be very useful to anybody who needs directions to anywhere that has hidden roads or hard-to-see turns. The third layer I loked at was the Live traffic Layer. It shows the traffic speed on almost all the roads on the earth. I learned about nasa lights it showed me my house in the dark and it was all lite up and on on weather is another layer it showed storms coming and hurricanes and one on anciet rome it showed old buildings and 3d figures of places in anciet rome. thouse are the theree layers i looked at Daniel 26
I did the street layer first on google earth. It was so cool i foound my houde and all my friends house. I even went and looked at disney world!!!! I also went and looked at the volcano layer and looked at all the volcanoes there ever was.There was a lot on hawaii.I also did dining it was so cool to see how many resturaunts are around the world there were so many resturaunts and i was awed

the first layer i used was fly to and i liked it becacause u dont have to search the screen but u just look to the side. the second layer i used was street view i like how u dont just have the direction there but u can see how the road looks like.the third layer i liked was weather cause u can see what the weather is like.
Emma #13 Google Earth is a great way, I think, to find a certian place on the map in a high tech way. while I used it, I explored 3D buildings. That is now my favorite link on it. I like to look at the weather layer as well. The other layer was the picture layer. It shaows many different sites.

It's really cool you can see the street you clicked on. One more thing is I love ocean layer. It shows beaches that you'd have in your intrest.

When you go to Google Earth you can type in your address and it will take right to the place you typed in. But if you go to street view it will show you the streets. And if you click on roads it shows you the highway. Adriana{17}
I thought it was really cool when I could select favorites and that I could see pictures of the airport and etc.. I also very much enjoyed the flight stimulator.
i used many different layers. such as the ocean layer and went under water and looked around at the geographic features of the ocean floor. i also looked at 3d buildings and flew to new york to get an up close veiw of the statue of liberty. then i went to mars to amazed at what i saw such as craters and other cool things. i was even able to find where rovers landed to explore the mars surface. and those were the layers i used.
I liked the the 3d layer because I could see the Atlanta airport in 3d! I also enjoyed the weather layer and saw huge storms around the world it was very interesting. I also enjoyed the ocean layer because I got to see the oceans I have visited and the oceans I hope to visit. Overall I thought the google earth was very interesting.
Bennett 17 One layer I tried was 3d, I liked it because if you zoomed in you coudlsee the buildings. The other layer was the weather , so you knew what the weather was when you needed to. The other was the flight simulator, so I could just have fun pretending to fly a plane.
I like to use the ocean view the besty because you can go anywhere under water. The street view is cool but it look scoller in google maps. In parnornail view you can see everything. IT IS AWESOME! Michael 18 5B
When I was on google earth I learned about threee layers. I learned about the 3-D buildings one and that it does not really work on my house. It only works on larger buildings. I also learned about the weather layer and that when you zoom out a lttle bit, it shows you the weather and tempurature of the county that you are in. And lastly I learned about the traffic layer and when there are little green dots then the trffic is good and when there are little red dots, the traffic is bad. It was very interesting!
I did the road, 3D buildings, and borders and labels. With the 3D buildings I looked at the great wall of China. I looked at all of the roads to my house. And with the border one i could tell india form China.
Google earth is amazing. You can do so much stuff with it. I laerned that you could do google Mars, moon, and sky. I also learned that you can go through a bunch of different layers like the volcano layer that lets you look into them. Also the animal tracker layer because I like to see and learn about all of the different animals. I liked the weather layer too because I can see what is happening with the weather around the world.Brennan 22
With google earth used the layers: Street View, Weather, and Ocean. With street view I saw 3-D view of the street and buildings. With weather I got to see the weather of the world. Some places were very hot! With ocean views I got to see all the shipwrecks and ocean sports. Google earth is so fun to play with and you get to learn while you play!
