With google earth I learned about different layers. The layers I used were Street View, Ocean and Global Awareness.
The global awareness layer shows the different databasses of Global Awareness. Such as WWF.
Ocean shows more indepth details of the ocean.
Street view gets you actual 3-D views of the street.
It is fun to mess around with Google Earth.

One layer I used was the ocean I got to explore the ocean I saw alot of fish and marine life.
The secong layer I used weather and found that in Bamako, Africa it is 95 F/35 c a bit cloudy.
The third was trafic I went to Navada and found real pictures of what is going on in the streets of Navada.

The three layers that i have played with is ocean, terrain, and street veiw. Ocean layey enable the person to go underwater. The terrain layer lets you see 3d images of geographical sites. The street veiw lets you see a road from the ground.
The first layer I didn't know about before is the weather layer. It is realy cool. I got a 2 or 3 day forecast for my town from it by clicking on the little sun thing on top of my town's little dot. It works on other towns to. I also tried out the street view layer. It was awesome! You just click on the Icon and it gives you a picture of the street at that place. You can go from one to another, too. Traffic is cool too. It has green dots marking traffic. You can see where the traffic is bad.

I think the three layers are awesome. I got to explore the bottom of the ocean. I saw alot of cool stuff. Then i looked at t3 d buildings and saw some of my favorite sports stadiums. It was great. Then I went to the street view, and saw the road which i live on it was awesome. It even showed some cars.

I like the 3-D layer the best, it really makes the buliding stand out.I like the photorealisitc layer,because it make the buildings look realistic.I like the street view,because I can see everything that is on the streets and it looks really cool.The discovery networks is cool,because it shows a really cool video of the Taj Mahal. I like the street view layer because you can view the area around the place you are viewing in good quality. I also like the ocean layer because you can view sunken ships like the titanic. One of my favorite is the terrian layer because it shows you the elevation of the land around what you are viewing.
Some layers include three d buildings, which is a great view, the ocean view, which is the best view on google earth, and street view, which can let you see all the streets!

I learned that the 3D buildings are really cool to look at. It gives the building more to look at. The ocean layer is very neat. It lets you see shipwrecks and marine protected areas. I think the weather one is very cool to. You see what weather is coming, and what the tenperatures.
When i was using the traffic layer you could see all the little details in the roads, even the cars that were driving on it at the time. Also, the 3D layer was really cool! You could see the different buildings like you were really there, they had details like, the bricks on houses, windows, etc. Lastly, the ocean layer was really cool! I found the titanic, and you can see all the little details in the water, like the ripples, and the differnt shades of blue at the differents depths.

I learned about the street view layer. I never remember street names, I only remember how to get somewhere. It is really easy to see the street names. Another layer I learned about was the weather layer. I think it is really cool how I can see the weather on Google Earth. If I wanted to see if it was cloudy or how the conditions are, I could just get on Google Earth. It is so easy to use this software.

I like the ocean layers because u can see all kids of ship wreaks. I also like the volcano layer. But the best of all is 3D buldings and Street View.
When I was on google earth i learned that you could use the 3-D building layer that only works on big buildings and not houses, the Earth city lights layer which lets you see the lights on the earth at night, and the weather layer that lets you see the weather for the whole world at that time and day.

When I used street veiw I could see all the different veiws outside of my neighborhood. With the weather layer, it showed the weather for a week in different cities all over the world. With the 3D buildings, it gives a fairly accurate veiw of the buildings.

I like the street view layer because you can see all of the things around the place you are looking at in good quality. I also like the ocean layer because you can view sunken ships. One of my favorite layers is the terrain layer because it shows you the elevation of the ground around you.

I was very unfamilar with Google Earth before thiss assignment. I tried three layers that sounded very interesting to me. The first one I tried was "Places of Interest". I looked for interesting places near where I used to live in Clalifornia and I found familar places that I wouldn't have been able to find by myself. On "Street View" I found interesting pictures of my house as well as my grandma's house. When using the "Weather" layer I found that is was in the mid 40's and there was rain in Missouri, Arizona, and Utah. Marisa 22

On google earth i used the layers the 3d builing and i saw the geogria dome were i competed last sunday for cheer. i also used the layer for the terrian i wanted to see were my dad was at since he was in afigainstian and wanted to see what it looked like . i also saw mars and looked at the craters in mars. In addtion i saw sharks .and we also saw the ship recks i was able to see the titacni .also i saw the roads and bulidings . the way they track theses anmails is they hook somthing on to them or implant it .also i saw a video of a sperm whale and the way that they swim .
the layers were awesome you could stalk fish and see sunken ships and all the 3d buildings

I was using the weather layer and i saw all of the clouds and I saw how hot and cold it was in places. I also used the fish tracker layer and I saw where a fish was swimming in the ocean. I also used the 3D buildings one and I got to see all of the buildings and I could see which were taller.

the layers are very cool. they can be very useful and fun. especialy when using flight simulator. : )
the one i liked best was the 3d buildings layer. i got to see mount everest and the empire state building. the layers are very useful.

1. The animal tracker was interesting and it took me to see where sharks and whales go.
2. 3D buildings gave you a good view of how different things looked and made it easier to imagine how big the eifel tower is.
3. The star patterns were interesting and made me wonder how these people were able to map all these.

I think the layers on google earth is really cool. They come in handy very very very very often. I really think google should keep making them better . Maybe make it look like the real earth . As in un didgital pictures.

I turned on the 3d layer and it was intersting because you could could really see all the details of the buildings. Then I turned on the ocean layer and could see all the interesting items,such as habits, animals, plants, ect. Lastly I did the weater layer and you could see all the upcoming weather and in differant places.
The Google Earth is very intersting, I especially like they show every detail. But an improvement in i is if it could let the structures stick out so it would look life like.. Cephas
I used the ocean layer and i found a sea lion a whale and a shark and followed them around. The Titanic was really cool. There is even two ships near it. They are the John Dwight and Athenian Venture.

I used the layers option on google earth. i used 3d buildings,traffic and ocean. when i used 3d buildings i saw lots of cool buildings in atlanta and new york like the empire state building.
when i used traffic i saw lots of little green dots which were cars.when i used ocean i got to trac sharks and stuff. the layer are awesome. caleb 17

1. I used Animal Tracking to see different animals & to see what they do in the ocean and theres a lot of information about each type of animal. I also pressed the ocean botton too go inside the ocean and explore around(:

The Three layers I used were 3D buildigs. I saw the statue of liberty, which was really cool. The other was street view. I saw the Empire state building. Which was very tall. The Third I used was Geographic features. With that i found mount everest.

The first layer i used was 3d building. It showed me alo9t about what i was looking at and more details of the Eiffel Tower. Next i used the Ocean Layer it taught me about the Marine life and plants in the oceans. I found it very interesting. Finally i used
Street View it showed me roads near my old house and my new one also the scool. These roads look way different than how they look now. It was cool.
I thought that all of the layers were really cool. But I think that the under water level is very cool, I got to see the sharks, they looked awesome. I also liked the 3-D buildings; I got to see Atlanta in real like dimension. But the coolest of them all was looking at the moon because I got to see the video of the Apollo 11. So over all everything on Google Earth is amazing.

My personal favorite layer is the street view. Becuase it helps me find my house and moms house. With some familiar pictures. Another favorite is the road layer. The road helps me find directions to where i need to go. My last favorite layer is the borders and labels. they help me find the places i want to see.

the 3 layers that i used were the ocean layer, when i used it i foung the Titanic it was cool to see how far apart the 2 parts were they wher about 2,095 feet away from cach other the frount part of the ship is about 4i8 feet long and the back is about 313 feet long! the other layer I used was the. 3D Building layer I got to see Hollywood and some stars house! it was cool. the last layer i used was the the gallery , I got to see many different pics

I loved using the street view.It helped me see what was happening on the street. I also liked roads. It told me where i was and what street names are around me. i liked the 3-D buildings because everything looked so realistic.

The street view is really cool to use.
It let me see my house.
I also like the 3D building, i saw inside the sydney opra house.
The last thing i liked was the geographic web. With it i could see where its snow and where it is not.

When i was on google earth I learned about the different layers of the earth. The layers I worked on were street view, ocean and space view. the streets I liked a lot because it let me use 3-D views of the street. also on the space view I could see views of mountains and lakes and rivers, views you can only see from above.I like google earth a lot!
I used animal tracker and learned how many water animals move. I used the weather fore cast layer and saw weather. I also used the shipwreck one and saw the ttanic

With google Earth i saw differt ways i can see m7y planet. I used Vocano view, Cloud view, 3D building view. Vocano view lets you see all the volcanos on the planet, cloud view lets you see the cloud patterns, and 3D building lets you see important buildings. google earth has Taught me alot
I learned about many different layers while i was using Google Earth. The layers i used were street view, weather, and 3-D buildings. street view allowed me to view roads and their surroundings from the point of view of a passing car. Weather enabled me to view satellite images and online weather reports on my map. My favorite layer though was 3-D buildings. this layer shows buildings popping up off the map just like they do in real life. These layers make google earth some even more realistic.

I just swam with a whale and saw where it had gone. It was awesome.
I also used the terrain image and looked at an aquium in Florida. Now I'm using the water sports and seeing people surfing!!!

With street veiw , you can see whats going on in the streets of any town in the world.
With ocean, you can see the details of the sea.
With terrain, you can see 3D images of the ground like mountains and canyons.

Three layers I picked were:
3D Buildings- The 3D buildings layer is a layer that enables you to see tall buildings in 3D.
Weather- The weather layer is when it shows the current weather. You can choose if you want clouds, radar, or conditions and forecasts.
Roads- The roads layer shows the roas on earth. Just like on a map.
i learned so much cool stuff on google earth. i loved it!!! i learned to fly, and stuff. i saw land in hollywood, it had very intresting sights. i saw water and beaches, they taught me the darkness of some parts of the oceans. Global taughter me weather and radar

This is Sooo cool!!! Have you tried animal traker? if you click on the animal and hit swim with me it will bring you where it has been! then i tried ocean sports where i found a awsome place in polynesia where you can surf. I dont surf though! :)

On Google Earth, I chose parks and recreation areas, shipwrecks, and earthquakes. Parks and recreation areas showed me national parks and national forests. Shipwrecks showed me and told me about different shipwrecks. Earthquakes showed me all the earthquakes from this week.

With google earth, I learned that there are alot of different layers. The layers I liked alot where the 3D building layer because you could could see the building like they were right there at you. The second on I liked was the weather because I could get the forecast for the weekend. And finally, the third layer that I liked was ocean because you could explore the oceans and see what was under all the water. It is fun to play around with Google Earth.

On Google Earth I used the layers: street view, ocean view, and global awareness. On street view I went to the street outside my neighborhood and looked at the different views. On ocean view I saw a ship wreck under the water. On global awareness view I saw the ice skatin rink in Central Park. Goolgle Earth is a very fun toot to use.

The three layers I used on Google Earth are traffic, Global Awareness, and terrain. With the traffic layer, I saw where areas of lots of traffic usually occurs are at. With the Global Awareness layer, I saw areas of the globe that are interesting to look at with GreenPeace. With the terrain layer, I saw hills and volcanos and other places.

the weatherlater is cool you see the clouds and you. also see storms before they hit. 3d buildings will turn all most every singal building look real. the ocean layer makes the water look real they also give you so many layers.
I found out that wake island is was a military ground in WWII. There is still a tank under water on the beach.

I think the three layers i liked is weather(clouds),roads,& CD Buildings.. you can search for diffrent countries and places! And other cool things.. I liked Google Earth because its fun to search fro different places i never been in..
I used the layers tab and I saw the volcano called Papayo in Mexico.It was really cool to see the detail on the sides of the volcano. I also used the oceans one and saw an artical on a reef on the oast of an island.

Using google earth, I learned how to use many different layers. In the ocean layer, I could see many details under the surface fo the ocean and "swim" with sharks and whales. I also enjoyed using the weather layer so I coulcd see all the weather going on in the world. Street view was cool also, because I could see downtown Canton and Sydney, Australia. I aslo saw 3-D pictures of Rome! I thought it was cool seeing all the earthquakes and volcanos. I really enjoyed playing around on Google Earth.

on the night light layer, i saw that the main cities were the places with the most lights.

what i liked about google earth is that you can do different kinds of things and my favorire one is CD buildings and cool..and also i liked is that u can click on the streets and its awesome you see where you going and what street you on...
